About the Role: Are you a Diesel Mechanic looking to take the next step in your career?
We seek an experienced or suitably qualified individual to lead their Parts Department.
This role involves overseeing all Inwards/Outwards goods, ensuring timely and accurate stock receipting, and maintaining efficient operations.
You will work with a dedicated team responsible for servicing and repairing our internal fleet, as well as assisting all customers.
The position is based at our Christchurch depot in Hornby, offering a guaranteed 42.5-hour work week from Monday to Friday.
Skills & Attributes: Demonstrated management and leadership experience in a similar role In-depth knowledge of Inwards/Outwards/Stock Control systems and processes, including stock receipting and replenishment Familiarity with heavy diesel machinery and related components Proactive approach to plant maintenance and aesthetics Proficiency with IT systems such as Xero and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) Ability to uphold high standards with minimal supervision Strong commitment to Health & Safety practices Self-motivated with excellent time management, communication skills, attention to detail, and accuracy A current full, clean driver's license; F, HT, and WTR endorsements are preferred but not essential Positive, team-oriented work ethic Company Benefits: Join a small but driven team in a role that promotes a great work/life balance Be part of a growing business within the hire industry Work in a supportive and collaborative team environment Enjoy an incentive scheme Access to ongoing training courses and certifications as needed #J-18808-Ljbffr
