Job DescriptionWe are looking for a senior farm assistant / herd manager to join our team. We milk 620 cows on our family-owned self-contained farm in Dipton West Southland through a 40 aside HB shed with in-shed feeding, acrs walk over teat spray, auto draft, and cow manager. All cows are wintered on farm along with some beefies too.We are looking for someone preferably with 3 to 4 years experience to assist in the day-to-day running of the farm and be in charge of junior staff on 2ics days off. The applicant must be experienced in all areas of dairy farming, i.e., milk harvesting, animal health treatment, and feeding out/mowing.
