About the role As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be a key member of the team at Willis Medical, providing high-quality care and support to patients in our Te Aro Wellington facility. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while working in a collaborative, supportive environment. What you'll be doing Assisting nurses and other healthcare professionals with patient careEnsuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patientsThe role is varied with a mix of computer work, liaising with the multi-disciplinary team and patient related tasksParticipating in team meetings and contributing to Willis Medical's quality improvements What we're looking for Experience is preferable but not essential as training will be provided; however, a good degree of common-sense is imperativeExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a teamStrong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures and protocolsComputer skills are an essential part of the roleEmpathy, compassion, and a genuine desire to improve the well-being of patientsA commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to learn new skills What we offer At Willis Medical, we are dedicated to supporting our employees and creating a positive work environment.
