Location: Radius Heatherlea, 139 Vivian Street, New Plymouth 4310
Hours of work: Part time, approximately 20 hours per week
Pay Rate: $26.94 - $29.10 per hour, subject to completed caregiving qualification
About the Role: Provide exceptional care to our residents under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families. Work closely with a team to implement our individual care plans. Full training provided.
Some Duties include but are not limited to: Undertaking personal cares while encouraging residents to make decisions that promote independencePromptly completing delegated tasks in a timely mannerResponding quickly to resident requests, providing them with useful, relevant informationMaintaining and updating resident healthcare recordsAssisting with handover of residents at shift changesCareer progression + assistance with Careerforce and NZQA qualificationsEAP (Employee Assistance Programme)Access to discounts and benefits via our Staff AppOpportunities to transfer between 23 Radius Care sitesSupportive team environmentSkills and Experience: New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 3 (or equivalent) and 3 years of relevant experience; OR New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 4 (or equivalent).People skills with empathy for the elderly and their familiesGood written and verbal communication skillsFlexibility to work on a rostered shift basisApply now!
