Healthcare Support Worker
Health Care Assistant (Hospital Level Care)
Location: Ross Home, Dunedin
Contract: Fixed-term role until 21 March 2025
The Role
You'll put your practical skills and compassion into supporting residents with everyday activities such as personal care, assistance at mealtimes, and general care duties that make for happier, healthier living at an Enliven home. You will work hard, but there are few jobs that will give you the immense satisfaction of working for people who are grateful for your help and who contribute to an enriching working environment.
Hours: Fixed-term to provide cover for a position while the incumbent is relieving another employee on parental leave until 21st March 2025. Days of work and hours will be 7.5hrs/day to be worked 1500-2300hrs as rostered, 4 on 2 off.
About You
The ideal applicant will:
Be empathetic, compassionate, and patient
Work well in a team
Enjoy working alongside older people
Be physically fit and strong
Have enthusiasm and a sense of humour
Experience in an aged care environment is preferred
Level 3 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing or equivalent will be an added advantage
