Locally owned and operated, Alton Drilling has operations based throughout New Zealand and overseas.The role:Alton Drilling Ltd is seeking to employ a Health Screen Consultant/Company Nurse to carry out annual medical checks and assessments on its employees throughout New Zealand, often in back country, rural settings. This is an autonomous role, but you will be supported by the wider team based out of our regional offices and the head office based in Waihi.Role requirements:This role would suit a practicing nurse or occupational health nurse who is looking for a role that incorporates travel and visiting some remote camp locations. The hours for this role are flexible and may be adjusted to suit roster patterns, but will be discussed at interview.To be successful for this role, you will need the following skills and experience:Be registered with a current practicing certificateHave a good level of physical fitnessHave general knowledge of medical conditionsBe willing to provide and present educational materialComplete workplace injury initial assessments and recommendationsPossess a clean driver licenseHave intermediate understanding of MS Office, including ExcelBe comfortable using technologyThe flexibility to accommodate early starts, late finishes, overnight stays, and weekends as requiredEnjoy working away from homeCulture and ValuesAt Alton Drilling, attitude is everything.
