Beyond fertiliser, we provide nutrient management services, technical advice and essential farm inputs delivered how, where and when they are needed by our customers.
About the Role: We are looking for an experienced and passionate Health, Safety & Wellbeing Business Partner to work with our Napier manufacturing and distribution site. This is an opportunity for an ambitious early career safety professional to step up to a semi-autonomous role and advance your career to the next level.
This role sits on the Napier Works Leadership Team and plays an integral role in training, developing, and partnering with the team so that health, safety and wellbeing continues to be woven into everything they do.
This role is also part of the broader Ravensdown HS&W team and will assist with the development of new and continued implementation of HS&W initiatives. The successful candidate will need to build effective collaborative relationships with staff onsite and offsite staff.
Note that some travel will be required for this role.
Key Responsibilities: Be an active part of the Napier Works Leadership teamMentor and coach the site Leadership team and all members of staffEnsure compliance with applicable H&S legislation & manage H&S risks and controls associated with our manufacturing siteInfluence and encourage staff to change patterns and behavioursConduct analysis, monitoring and provide reporting to site Leadership team and the National HS&W Manager as requestedLead and develop projects that will increase HS&W impacts throughout the businessCommunicate openly and frequently with key related stakeholdersAbout You: You will be an experienced, senior level health, safety and wellbeing professional who can gain credibility with your knowledge, skillset and ability to build sound relationships.
You will enjoy working closely with operational managers to solve problems and being the HS&W expert on site and thrive in managing the associated risks of a manufacturing plant
You will work well with the wider HS&W team and be passionate about collaboration and finding opportunities to align across our works sites nationally.
Ideal Skills & Experience: Experience working full time in a health and safety advisor or business partner role.Experience working in a Senior Business Partner or Advisor role is advantageousAbility to build credibility and influence across all levels of the business.Strong working knowledge and experience of current health and safety legislationProblem solving skills and risk assessment experience using data.Incident investigation experience (preferably with ICAM experience)High level of emotional intelligence and the ability to work successfully on long term projects.In return for your skills, we offer a very competitive package that includes an array of insurances a company clothing allowance, plus excellent training and development opportunities in a supportive cooperative environment.
