Health, Safety & Risk Administrator - Fixed Term

The Top Energy Group operates throughout the Far North delivering geothermal electricity generation and electricity network operations. Our purpose is providing affordable and sustainable energy for Far North consumers, which we are achieving by transforming the Top Energy Group into a technology-enabled energy company that generates and facilitates two-way energy flow between renewable energy generators and consumers.
We are seeking an Administrator for a fixed term period of 12 to 18 months, to coordinate and take ownership of aspects of the HSR management system. To provide administrative support and assistance to the HSR Manager and HSR Advisor in successfully managing the health, safety and risk portfolio of the Top Energy Group.
Key areas of focus will be:

Complete administrative tasks required to support delivery of the Group Health and Safety Strategy and annual work programme
Provide the administrative support to maintain and enhance the Health and Safety Management System
Administration of the various inputs of the Contractor Management process
Working within the health & safety schedule/calendar of events and with the HSR Advisor, Coordinator and health & safety representatives of Network, Contracting and Generation, provide administrative support to ensure effective and efficient management of the HSR portfolio
Support the effective leadership of the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Committee
In cooperation with the HSR Manager and/or Senior Advisor, liaise with WorkSafe, Regional Council and external services providers

To succeed in this role, you will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role. It is essential that you have excellent communication skills and a high level of computer ability, as well as a current full NZ Drivers Licence. It would be an advantage if you have a relevant health & safety qualification and previous experience in the electricity or similar industry.
