MCS Group is proud to be working with a fast-growing manufacturing company to grow out their existing HSE team and add an HSE Manager to their award-winning team.Want to work for Employer of the year 2024?What's in it for you?Salary circa 55KFull flexi-timeRestaurant standard, subsidised canteenSalary sacrifice car schemeElectric car charging on site + many more!You will:Participate in internal audit program to support continual improvement in all relevant functions.Compile and present H,S&E and business objective compliance reports where necessary.Support the maintenance and attainment of all relevant management system accreditations.Promote and raise awareness of the impact of emerging H,S&E issues.Implement best practices in areas of sustainability, ethical and social responsibility and address any issues arising.Support the maintenance and development of H,S&E policies and procedures including integrated standard and emergency operating procedures.Ensure compliance for site is maintained in line with all relevant organisational requirements including Legionella, Waste, Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER), DSEAR, Accident/Near Miss investigation and RIDDOR reporting.Ensure that H&S training is kept up to date with legal, business and client requirements.Ensure that workplace inspections and risk assessments are carried out and reviewed annually or sooner should there be a significant change to render the current risk assessment void.Support the development and implementation of employee and management training programs.Criteria:Professional Health and Safety Qualification.Experience working at Senior level in Manufacturing sector.Detailed understanding of relevant legislation.Exposure to internal management groups, external customer base (seminars/workshops), external suppliers, and governing bodies.Able to operate outside of core hours when required and travel to other sites on occasion.Full details will be provided upon application.To speak in absolute confidence about this opportunity, please send an up-to-date CV via the link provided or contact Alan Montgomery, Specialist Consultant at MCS Group.
