Occupational Health & Safety (Human Resources & Recruitment)Silver Fern Farms Waitotara have an outstanding opportunity for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about implementing and maintaining sound Health and Safety processes and systems.It is a permanent position and suited to someone with previous experience and can hit the floor running at our busy site!We will be interviewing for this role in Mid January for a 2025 start.Lead all facets of Health & Safety processes, including incident investigation, administration and auditing of Health & Safety systems and reporting to site management.
You will need to have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships to drive change.This role is critical in ensuring the site's health & safety procedures are compliant with current health and safety legislation whilst providing guidance in the area of health and wellbeing for all staff at Silver Fern Farms, Waitotara.Our ideal candidate will have:A passion for creating a healthy and safe environment for peopleStrong organisational and interpersonal skillsComputer literacy - proficiency in the use of Microsoft (Word, Excel), databases and systemsAbility to think on your feet, work independently and have a willingness to learnProven ability in Continuous ImprovementLevel 4 H&S certificate or diploma would be advantageous, or the desire to study towards a H&S related qualificationIf you have the drive to lead and implement positive change and initiatives across the Site, then we would love to hear from you.Why work at Silver Fern Farms?Silver Fern Farms are all about Creating Goodness from the Farms the World Needs.
