Silver Fern Farms Waitotara have an outstanding opportunity for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about implementing and maintaining sound Health and Safety processes and systems. It is a permanent position suited to someone with previous experience who can hit the floor running at our busy site!
Lead all facets of Health & Safety processes, including incident investigation, administration, auditing of Health & Safety systems, and reporting to site management. You will need to have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and build relationships to drive change.
This role is critical in ensuring the site's health & safety procedures are compliant with current health and safety legislation while providing guidance in the area of health and wellbeing for all staff at Silver Fern Farms, Waitotara.
Our ideal candidate will have:

A passion for creating a healthy and safe environment for people
Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
Computer literacy - proficiency in the use of Microsoft (Word, Excel), databases, and systems
Ability to think on your feet, work independently, and have a willingness to learn
Proven ability in Continuous Improvement
Level 4 H&S certificate or diploma would be advantageous, or the desire to study towards a H&S related qualification
