Nothing is more important than making sure everyone on our team gets home safely.The Role:We have a brilliant opportunity for a passionate Health & Safety Professional to join the Booths Team. Reporting to our National Health & Safety Manager, you will use your expertise to champion a strong culture of safety and wellbeing across our business.This is a predominately office-based role and will provide the business with technical advice and support including reporting, monitoring our critical risk areas, and managing and developing our H&S systems and processes. You will be preferably based in Auckland, but we will consider candidates from across the country.What you can offer us:Proven experience of health and safety management, with a focus on technical aspectsStrong understanding of New Zealand health and safety legislation and regulations (HSWA 2015 and relevant amendments)Experience with Health and Safety database management and reporting systemsExcellent attention to detail and data management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to prioritise workload and work under pressure to meet deadlinesHigh professional work standards, work ethic, personal presentationAbility to adapt to change in a high paced work environmentAbility to maintain strict confidentiality with people issues and commercial informationQualifications:Ideally, you will have a Level 3 H&S Certificate and/or at least 3 years' experience in Health & Safety, Occupational Health or related field.What we can offer you:Opportunity to join our supportive, dynamic team.A supportive Manager and a team that is looking forward to their new team member starting!About Us:At Booth's Logistics our strength is in our people.
