About the Role: Joining a dedicated H&S team, and with your own solid exposure to NZ Health & Safety you will help develop, design, and influence across all things H&S. You'll be involved with the mitigation of risk through detailed response to incidences; forward thinking contractor management; proactive engagement with onsite representatives; along with hazards management and impactful control measures. You know what good looks like and will bring your own safety and wellbeing initiatives to the team. Being a complex environment, you will understand the level of detail, record management and pre-emptive actions required to be successful in a role like this. You will be involved in projects, investigations, and lots of engagement – promoting a safe and compliant work environment, with conviction! • It's about Best Practice • It's about thinking, and doing • It's about Influencing About You: You will ideally have about 4+ years working experience in H&S, or you may only have 2 years, but this will be complimented with other related business knowledge and are hunger to develop and grow in this field further! A not negotiable is your solid knowledge/qualifications across NZ H&S legislation. You are someone who can work independently, and you're described as an all-rounder, with a great attitude. You're a generalist and will have good H&S exposure across a variety of sectors, and you can demonstrate an ability to manage challenging situations. You can positively influence those around you and can confidently shape and change people's thinking.
