This fixed-term contract offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity, where you'll be expected to hit the ground running. As well as some BAU H&S duties, you will work closely with teams on simultaneous projects, that will contribute to the improvement and the achievement of Health & Safety objectives across both Fullcircle and our nationwide Baling Plant operations. Your role in these projects will assist in ensuring a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence at all sites.
Assist with completing the Baling plant site H&S systems auditsTargeted focus on timely investigations, overdue actions, and management of, in line with our procedures.H&S Team training and development, including environmental H&S.Transport inductions into our Learning Management System.Support the Continued critical risk control verification programme and SMS kept current and correct (corporate and site/division level).Targeted short term projects: Prepare for the new NZ ACC AEP audit to ISO45001.Support Fullcircle's participation in our Wellness, Mental Health and Psychosocial safety review and programme (in conjunction with HR) – with a strong focus on psychosocial safety.Review each Baling plant contractors 2025 H&S plan and ensure each satisfies OjiFS' expectations.Ideal attributes and skills: Relevant qualification and/or minimum 4 years working in large industrial or manufacturing environmentStrong attention to detail associated with inspections, audits and record keepingDemonstrate requirements with all aspects of incident / accident investigationsProficient with the Microsoft Office suite for updating SOP's and policiesFamiliar with undertaking a sub-contractor documentation reviewSelf-motivated with good initiative and time management skillsWhat we offer: Supportive and committed TeamPenrose location with free onsite car parking6-month fixed term contract, Monday – Friday 40-hour weekThe Company: Fullcircle is a division of Oji Fibre Solutions (NZ) Ltd and is a market leader specialising in the collection of kerbside and commercial waste paper for supply to our New Zealand Pulp & Paper Mills and export customers.
