80 hours per fortnight (1 FTE)
An exciting opportunity has opened up for two Health Protection Officers to join our dynamic and friendly team at Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Te Matau a Maui, Hawke's Bay.
 The successful applicants will be part of our Health Protection Team and it is anticipated that they will be able to enhance our unit according to their expertise and training. 
It is anticipated that the successful applicants will be capable of undertaking the full range of Health Protection Officer duties, including some programme leadership roles depending on their experience.
 These are permanent positions and due to the nature of work will require some flexibility and participation in the on-call roster. We take an active role in ongoing training and competency development of our team members.
 The successful applicant must be able to obtain and maintain designation as a Health Protection Officer, as required by the Director General of Health in New Zealand.
