About the role:
Due to tremendous growth in the region, we have an exciting new opportunity for an outstanding professional to join us in the role of Health Consultant based in Dunedin. In this supported autonomous role, you will deliver first aid training courses and health screening services across the region. You will be working a guaranteed minimum of 80 hours per fortnight, with some Saturday work.
Our team comprises Health professionals from various disciplines: Nutritionists, Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Acupuncturists, Exercise Physiologists, ex-Paramedics, overseas Dentists, etc.
Key responsibilities:
Deliver first aid training courses in a group setting at worksites and Life Care venues
Deliver health screening services at worksites and Life Care venues
Travel across the region to worksites, with the occasional night away
The successful candidate will have:
The right to work in New Zealand
A current New Zealand Driver's Licence
Ability to work Saturdays, do early starts and late finishes, and travel and stay overnight from time to time
A tertiary health or sport and exercise-related qualification
A passion for teaching and preventative health care
The ability to deliver health education in a manner that is engaging and interactive, as well as previous experience in training/education
