Health Coach - Te Ara Waiora Flaxmere

Are you passionate about making a difference in health and well-being? We are seeking a dedicated Health Coach to join our Te Ara Waiora Team in Flaxmere. We are committed to health equity and improving Maori Health through a collaborative, holistic approach.
About the Role:
As a Health Coach, you will empower whanau to take charge of their health by providing them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to achieve their personal health goals. You'll work closely with our clinical team to inspire positive lifestyle changes, manage stress, and enhance overall well-being.
This is a permanent role, Monday to Friday, with hours from 8.30am to 5.00pm.
What We Are Looking For:
Commitment to our organisational values and kaupapa
A warm, engaging personality with strong interpersonal skills
Experience in outcome-focused work with individuals and groups
Professionalism in all aspects of your work, from presentation to practice
Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of privacy and confidentiality
A current New Zealand Full Driver's License
An understanding of Te Reo and tikanga Maori (or a willingness to learn)
A positive, adaptable attitude and a commitment to going the extra mile
First aid certificate
Completion of Recognised Health Coach Training (can be provided).
Desirable:
A tertiary qualification in Hauroa/Health, Nutrition, Sport and Recreation or a similar field.
