About the role We have two Health Care Assistant roles to fill in a hospital-level care capacity - one is for morning shifts and the other is for afternoon shifts.
We work with a fixed roster so you can plan ahead but the ability to offer some flexibility to pick up additional shifts, to provide cover in the home is always welcomed.
So get in touch and have a chat with us, we'd love to hear from you.As a Health Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to our residents in their daily living and social requirements.
Your key responsibilities will be: Deliver the highest standard of personalised care to every Resident Support and encourage residents to maintain their independence and make decisions for themselves Assist and support the activities of daily living in a way that meets the Eden principles and the Domains of Wellbeing Take instruction and tasks from the Registered Nurse Ensure resident's needs are attended to effectively and in a timely manner Mo koe - About You As well as a passion for the wellbeing of older people, you will be enthusiastic but patient and well organised; with great interpersonal skills and a sense of humour.
You will share our values of empathy, compassion, and respect.
In addition, you will have: Careerforce Level 2 Health and Wellbeing Certificate or above.
Experience in providing hospital level care Ability to be an active member of a team environment Good verbal communication and documentation skills Basic computer skills What's in it for me?
