We have a permanent part-time positionavailable working 64 hours a fortnight (0.8 FTE) as rostered across all shifts.As a Health Care Assistant you will be part of our dedicated nursingenvironment with full support. Your role is to work within the team to assistnursing staff in care delivery, one-to-one patient watches and other tasks asdirected.

We are looking for people with a matureoutlook, the ability to get on with a wide variety of people and who haveexcellent communication skills. They will also have the ability to work in aflexible and methodical manner, demonstrate honesty and reliability, and useappropriate initiative.
Experience within the health sector ispreferred, but is not essential as full training will be provided.
Qualifications Year 11 NCEA level 1 English (or equivalent) Year 11 NCEA level 1 Maths (or equivalent)
Mandatory requirement *NZQA Level 3: New Zealand Certificatein Health and Wellbeing - Health Assistance Strand, if not previouslyobtained, is to be commenced once orientations havebeen attended. The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand orhold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
