Health Care Assistant - Cardiology / NephrologyDunedinSalary: NZD 30,000 - 60,000About the RoleAs a Health Care Assistant at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Southern, you will assist with a range of direct and non-direct patient care tasks under the direction of a registered nurse.
Your responsibilities will include:Patient watch (patient care partner) / supervision and/or movement with one-on-one careRestocking and setting up of equipmentSupporting nurses and other members of the healthcare teamClerical duties as requiredCommitment to rotating rostered shiftsHours of work are Monday to Sunday inclusive, based on rostered shifts including nights and weekends.About UsTe Whatu Ora - Southern has the largest geographical coverage of all the New Zealand regions, providing services to 350,000 people in diverse communities.
