Health Care Assistant - Assessment, Treatment & Rehabilitation Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora – Hastings, North Island

About the Role:
As a Health Care Assistant, you will work within our team of skilled clinical and non-clinical staff who provide quality, comprehensive services ensuring our patients and their whanau are well cared for. You will work under the direction and delegation of clinical staff and develop a wide range of skills and experience.

About you:
To be successful in this role you will need:
Experience caring for people in a similar role
A passion for people and the community
A genuine desire to help and support others
New Zealand Certificate in Health & Wellbeing (Level 3) (or be willing to study towards this)
Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
Experience in projects/initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
