ABOUT THE ROLE: Working amongst a national team of H&S professionals, you will be coaching and mentoring managers on industry best practice, providing Health and Safety leadership around systems, processes, and culture.
This includes: • Working with line managers to foster high levels of H&S awareness.
• Supporting and coordinating the risk management functionality.
• Interpreting and providing advice on relevant Acts, Regulations and Standards • Sharing learnings and best practice opportunities from other sites, business units and external experience.
• Ability to facilitate safety practices e.g.
investigations, risk assessment, culture initiatives, reporting and analysis.
ABOUT YOU: You're passionate about H&S and are skilled at working collaboratively to ensure we all get home safe each night.
Some of the key attributes we are looking for include: • Coaching and mentoring skills with a genuine desire to help people, achieve solid outcomes and support continuous improvement.
• A demonstrated capability in the application and implementation of H&S systems, strategies, and programmes.
• An ability to lead change, inspiring others along the way.
• A level 4 or above H&S certification/qualification from a recognised provider.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to build trusted relationships and influence at multiple levels in safety.
As we are a nationwide organisation, travel will be required (including overnight stays) so the ability to be flexible is important.
