We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join us, to be based in Auckland. This exciting opportunity will have you working alongside a team of proficient and collaborative health and safety practitioners, all working to fulfil our goal of making sure all our people get home safe and healthy.
Our ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years' experience working in a construction health and safety environment, experience in delivering health and safety investigations, monitoring, training and coaching, and a strong understanding of health and safety legislation and best practice. We need someone who is a team player with strong communication and presentation skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across a range of audiences.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

Providing effective health and safety support and advice across allocated business units within your designated region
Leading and supporting high-quality incident investigations to gain organisational learning and implement timely and effective improvements
Proactively building and developing strong relationships with managers, workers, and subcontractors within your region
Delivery of health and safety training within your region
Undertaking site inspections and providing monitoring and coaching of operational personnel to increase their capability and effectiveness in managing site risks
Collating performance data to provide and maintain regional reporting
Championing HEB Construction health and safety procedures and initiatives
