We are 100% New Zealand-owned and operated and a proud member of the Talley's Group; New Zealand's leading exporter of meat, dairy, seafood, and vegetable products.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a talented, detail-oriented, and highly organisedHealth & Safety Administrator to join our plant based in Invercargill.We are looking for a person with a genuine and committed approach towards Health and safety with a half-glass full attitude.You will need to have strong interpersonal skills, with the added ability to communicate effectively to build quality relationships towards a progressive and positive work culture.Reporting to the Health & Safety Officer, you will be responsible for:Championing Health and safety processes and initiativesMaintaining site hazard and incident registersSupporting the development and implementation of safe systems of work Overseeing contractor management profiles and inductionsGeneral Health & Safety administration tasks and support to the H&S OfficerQualificationsFormal qualifications in Health and Safety would be advantageous, however experience in a Health & Safety environment performing functions such as injury management, incident investigation, and risk assessment processes will be considered with the desire to study towards a H&S related qualification.Previous experience in development, writing and reviewing of Safe Operating Procedures would be highly advantageous.This role requires medium/advanced operating knowledge of Microsoft Suites: Word and ExcelAdditional InformationTo ensure a safe workplace, AFFCO conducts pre-employment medical checks and drug screening.If you are looking to learn new skills and join a fast paced but enjoyable workplace, apply online today! #J-18808-Ljbffr
