Head Veterinary Nurse / Auckland, MangereSPCA is one of the best loved and most respected charities in New Zealand, with a proud history of helping animals in need and advocating for animal welfare since 1872.About the rolePermanent full-time role40 hours per week between 07.30am and 04.30pm Monday to Sunday as rosteredWe are looking for a Head Veterinary Nurse to join the SPCA Auckland (Mangere) Hospital team. You would lead a large team of 15 Vet Nurses and 2 Animal Attendants to ensure that our animals receive the best care and treatment. This role combines clinical leadership with administrative duties in the day to day running of a busy veterinary hospital.What we need from you:An experienced veterinary nurse with proven clinical skills.Ability to work in a high performance, fast paced environment.Excellent communication and time management skills.Self-motivated team member, enthusiastic and passionate about animal welfare.Quick thinker skilled at multi-tasking and able to prioritise and effectively manage workloads.Demonstrate empathy and resilience.What we can offer you, our SPCA PurrksWorking with SPCA offers numerous perks.
