We're seeking expressions of interest from experienced ECE teachers, who are either experienced in Head Teacher roles, or are perhaps looking to make that next step in your career.
We have two ECE centers in Halswell, with various Head Teacher roles on the horizon.
We are a Montessori Preschool and as such, this opportunity will suit teachers who are either experienced in, or interested in learning about, the Montessori philosophy of teaching.
To be successful for a position within our team, you must be a flexible team player, who works well in a team of professionals.
You must also be able to show team leadership experience or potential.

This is a full-time, permanent position.We have recently moved to the Full Parity remuneration scheme.Modern, purpose-built facilities, for the comfort of children and staff.Professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and career growth.We have a formal Montessori training scheme available (optional).Supportive and collaborative work environment with a focus on team-building.Work within a team of experienced head teachers, who are happy to share their knowledge.Work for a locally owned business, with hands-on support and guidance from the directors and management.We have lots of exciting plans in the pipeline across our network of centres, so if you are looking for career progression opportunities, we could be a good fit for you.Responsibilities:Provide a safe and supportive environment, ensuring the well-being of each child.Foster and lead positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.Assist with building and driving an engaging and age-appropriate curriculum to foster a love for learning.Conduct developmental assessments and maintain detailed records of each child's progress.Lead and collaborate with the team, to plan and execute enriching activities and events.Required Experience and Skillset:Recent and relevant experience in the ECE sector.Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive and nurturing learning environment.Successful applicants will have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
