Do these values align with yours?We are looking for a passionate experienced head teacher to lead our team of 6 teachers in a busy centre licenced for 40 children with a full role and waitlist. Prior experience in a leadership position is required along with experience in actively leading and documenting ongoing improvement (self-reviews). The current head teacher is staying at the centre but wishes to return to a core teaching role. This position is supported by the manager / owner who is actively involved in the centre on a day to day basis.Our ideal applicant would be passionate about high standards of care and education and have the following key skills:building strong relationships with children, parents and staffability to motivate a team and work well as part of a teamsound knowledge of ECE curriculum, child assessment, programme planning, self-review, legislation and policies and proceduresstrong awareness of health and safety requirementseffective time management and organisational skillsprofessionalismThis position requires prior leadership experience within a New Zealand ECE environment.
