The Role At Millbrook Resort, we have an extensive range of luxury accommodation. The role involves ensuring guests are warmly greeted and a tailor -made experience is delivered. We focus on being part of a collaborative team, delivering a high-end bespoke guest experience, whether it be assisting with luggage, delivering room service, selling and promoting in-house and external activities, driving guests in our shuttle services or providing a luxury airport service from ZQN to Millbrook Resort. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong customer focus; who is honest, responsible and capable of working independently and has the expertise to provide a 5-star service, as well as, hands-on support to the front office operation.
Success Profile Passion for service delivery and the hospitality industry Professional and immaculately presented Minimum of three years experience within guest relations in a five-star environment, portering experience preferred Excellent guest relations and communication skills, coupled with a "can do" attitude Display a dedicated commitment to creating memorable guest experiences, including surprises and amenities for special occasions Ability to work on own initiative, as well as work as an effective team player Strong problem-solving skills, including a strong knowledge of maintenance work to support hotel operations outside of standard hours Excellent knowledge of Queenstown activities, coupled with a proven track record in driving activity sales and hitting KPIs Lead by example and inspire a culture of productivity and positivity within the team High level of attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills Experience in training team member, coupled with strong commitment to teamwork Experience in creating and implementing SOPs, including training team members on updated procedures Resilient and able to respond to a variety of situations with a collaborative and flexible approach Knowledge in Health and Safety requirements, and demonstrate the ability to refine and establish SOPs to enhance both guest experiences and workplace safety Knowledge and experience with Opera Hotel Management system and computer programs such as Microsoft Office is preferred Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, including night shifts Full clean Driver's Licence is essential and P-Class endorsement advantageous. Thorough knowledge of Queenstown road laws is essential. Location: Arrowtown, Queenstown
Hours: Full time guaranteed 30/40 hours per week
Pay Banding: $27.50 - $30 gross per hour

What are some of your favourite aspects of working in the Front Office department? Again, the team makes the Front Office department such an enjoyable team to be part of. I also love taking care of our guests and finding creative ways to make their stay more memorable. Not one day is the same!
