About the role:We are seeking for a head pastry chef to lead our Pastry section, ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations to maximise guest satisfaction.
Your responsibilities will include: Supervising and Training: Lead and mentor the pastry team, providing training to junior pastry chefs.
Support Senior Chefs: Collaborate with senior chefs to maintain a consistent, high standard of work.
Production-Style Kitchen: Work in a production-style kitchen catering to Skyline Food and Beverage outlets.
Quality and Innovation: Develop new pastry dishes and maintain product and service quality.
Efficiency and Compliance: Implement effective food management policies, maintain safety and hygiene standards, and manage kitchen costs.
The perfect candidate will have: 4 years minimum relevant experience within a similarly high-end, high-volume kitchen, extensive knowledge of all thing's patisserie, with good technical ability and a great eye for detail, experience in buffet production is desirable, a "can do" attitude and excellent communication skills, a passion for producing a quality product and a genuine interest to work in the hospitality industry.
