Reporting to the GM of Sustainable Performance, you will lead a highly engaged team, driving the enhancement of sustainability capability and understanding across Kiwibank. In this role, you will lead the development and execution of Kiwibank's sustainability strategy, ensuring it is integrated with enterprise-wide work programmes, policies, and processes. You will also oversee operational carbon reporting and reduction initiatives, manage environmental systems across our sites, and build strategies that enhance our social impact in alignment with our Purpose strategy. Additionally, you will continuously improve our sustainability reporting in line with global best practices, while acting as an ambassador for Kiwibank on sustainability. Through this, you will engage with internal and external stakeholders to enhance reporting effectiveness, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and meeting stakeholder expectations. At Kiwibank, we will help you build on your strengths and develop new skills, but in the meantime, we would love to hear from you if you have the following experience: Experience in sustainability, climate change, ESG or a similar professional area. Understanding of sustainability strategies and reporting frameworks and key concepts of both environmental and social sustainability. Proven senior leadership experience and the ability to influence at all levels across a business. Advanced ability to build relationships quickly and confidently and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external parties. Strong understanding of macro-economic/environmental issues that will impact sustainability.
