Are you ready to take on a high-impact supply chain leadership role in a dynamic, large-scale environment? We are seeking an experienced Head of Supply Chain to drive operational excellence and support strategic initiatives within a complex, fast-paced organisation. Reporting to the GM Manufacturing & Supply Chain, this role will be pivotal in resetting and optimising the end-to-end supply chain within a business with a well-established presence and a revenue base well north of $1 billion NZD.

About the Role

This role focuses on executing and enhancing supply chain  operations within a complex, high-volume environment. The Head of Supply Chain will collaborate closely with the GM Manufacturing & Supply Chain to develop and implement critical strategies that improve areas such as S&OP, capacity planning, freight and enhancing supply chain visibility. This is an ideal role for a skilled supply chain professional looking to drive significant change in alignment with broader strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities End-to-End Supply Chain Execution: Oversee all aspects of supply chain operations, from forecasting and capacity planning to inventory management and freight, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives. Operational Leadership: Develop and execute strategies with the GM Manufacturing & Supply Chain that drive efficiency and improve service delivery. Digital Integration: Identify and implement digital tools to enhance supply chain visibility and integrate seamlessly with the ERP system, supporting real-time decision-making. Continuous Improvement: Develop and lead a roadmap for continuous improvement, optimising processes across the supply chain to boost quality, efficiency, and responsiveness. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, operations, finance, IT and other teams to foster a cohesive, customer-focused approach to supply chain management. About You

To thrive in this role, you'll bring a blend of technical expertise, hands-on leadership, and a collaborative approach. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in complex manufacturing or distribution environments and possess:
End-to-end supply chain management expertise, with a background in S&OP, freight, capacity planning, and inventory management. The ability to translate high-level strategies into tangible operational improvements that drive results. Experience with digital tools and ERP integration to enhance visibility and performance. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills focused on quality and efficiency. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, facilitating effective collaboration with stakeholders across functions. Proven experience driving significant change in a large, complex organisation.
