We are truly committed to making a positive difference.This is an exciting time to join Watercare!As the Head of Sustainability and Innovation, you will influence the future of water services delivery across Auckland, focusing on the delivery of sustainable outcomes for Watercare and for Aucklanders across Tamaki Makaurau.Reporting to the Chief Strategy and Planning Officer, this role is responsible for developing and driving the integration of Watercare's sustainability, innovation and asset lifecycle focused strategies and ensuring their application into all aspects of our business. You will lead the disciplines necessary to deliver efficient geospatial data & asset information and electrical systems planning. These functions combined, driven towards achieving effective and sustainable water services.Your responsibilities will include:Securing our sustainability road map and ensure that it is embedded in and owned by each individual in our business. Using our capability and expertise, working to support the wider water industry in the delivery of sustainable outcomes across Aotearoa.Establishing our technology and innovation focused framework, implementing a business wide innovation assessment approach and delivering technology testing for potential future integration in our water services delivery strategies.Overseeing the development, implementation, and ongoing management of Watercare's Asset Lifecycle/ Management Framework.Leading Watercare's geospatial and asset information management approach and delivery of services to the broader business.Supporting the Electrical and Control Systems planning team to provide electrical expertise to support efficient and effective infrastructure delivery.You are a people leader with highly developed facilitation, problem solving and influencing skills coupled with the ability to work with all facets of the business and external stakeholders.
