Hastings Girls' High School/Nga Rau Huia o Akina is seeking an experienced and innovative Head of Social Sciences to lead a thriving department in a school at the forefront of curriculum development. Our Social Sciences department offers popular and successful NCEA courses, including psychology, business studies, and history. At the junior level, Social Sciences is part of our cross-curricular, knowledge-rich programme, which is locally based and reflects the strengths and cultural identities of our students.
The successful candidate will join a strong team of curriculum leaders who work collaboratively with each other and the senior leadership team to build robust pathways for our akonga.
