About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Sales to lead their sales across the New Zealand and Australian markets. Based in Wellington and reporting directly to the CEO, this pivotal role will oversee a team consisting of Field Sales Managers and Territory Managers. You will be responsible for driving sales strategies, expanding market presence, and fostering relationships with key clients in the hunting, fishing, farming, and marine retail sectors.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement sales strategies for New Zealand and Australia.Lead and mentor a team of field sales managers and territory managers.Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities.Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the hunting, fishing, farming, and marine retail industries.Monitor market trends and competitor activities.Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies.Qualifications: Ideally, you'll have a business-related degree.Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role, preferably within the apparel, outdoor, hunting & fishing, or related industries.Must have experience in a fast moving consumer product sales environment - wholesale or distribution Strong understanding of the New Zealand and Australian markets.Excellent leadership and team management skills.Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach.Why Join Us: Be part of a dynamic and innovative New Zealand company.Lead a dedicated and passionate sales team.Opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's growth.Enjoy some great opportunities to experience the product out in the field!
