You'll develop and execute sales success across iconic brands such as The Food Shows, The New Zealand Boat Show, The Baby Show, and our Home & Garden Show. Your mission is to drive high performance across our event sales teams, exceed stand and sponsorship revenue targets, and work closely with our General Manager to achieve outstanding results.Your Journey with UsLead, coach, and develop our sales team to smash sales and sponsorship targets. Craft and implement innovative sales strategies, collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams, and secure strategic partnerships and sponsorships. Engage with major corporates to secure top-tier sponsors and build strong professional relationships with key accounts and industry stakeholders.What We Are Looking ForWe seek a proven sales hunter with experience across senior sales management roles (preferably across media and/or events) with a track record of leading sales teams to exceed targets. You should possess strong leadership, negotiation, and strategic planning skills, along with excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities. The ideal candidate is proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven, with high energy and a drive to innovate and solve problems. Advanced skills in monitoring and evaluating budgets, and any experience positively applying AI tools across sales, are welcomed.
