Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
The ability to manage multiple challenges and prioritise issues.
Good time management and communication skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with a strong attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts and solutions to diverse audiences.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and drive results.
Innovative thinker with the ability to overcome obstacles and develop creative solutions to drive business outcomes.
10+ years of experience in sales and marketing leadership roles, preferably within the IT or technology sector.
What's it like day-to-day?
Great question! Here's a snapshot of what your day would look like at Lagom:
Develop and implement detailed sales and marketing plans based on customer needs, industry trends, and competitive analysis. Create and manage marketing and sales campaigns across various platforms, including social media, email, and traditional channels.
Drive revenue growth by identifying new markets, expanding product lines, and optimizing pricing strategies.
Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns that build brand awareness, generate leads, and support sales efforts.
Ensure alignment of product offerings, pricing strategies and support services.
Generate revenue by negotiating contracts, closing deals, completing marketing analysis and ensuring pricing points are competitive.
Continually define target customers and identify potential new leads.
Set and monitor performance targets for the sales and marketing team, critically analyse sales and marketing data, and report on results to assess effectiveness and drive improvements.
Keeping up-to-date with current industry and dealership requirements; challenges; legislation; best practices.
General administration duties, including but not limited to, updating Hub-spot, CRM databases and ad-hoc tasks and projects as requested.
Ensure deadlines are agreed and met with the business and customer.
Identification, research, and recommendation of new business opportunities through research and targeting potential acquisitions.
Review and assess the current business position to identify strengths, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Implement client retention strategies to grow long-term relationships and maximize customer lifetime value.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to clients and stakeholders.
Prepare, submit and present proposals and RFPs.
Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive customer retention and satisfaction.
Focus on customer retention and engagement, analysing campaign performance to enhance metrics.
Ensuring communication with customers remains open and consistent, including but not limited to project timelines and expectations.
Provide timely and accurate quotes for all products and services in line with pricing guidelines.
