The opportunity: Reporting to the Executive Vice-President, Investment Solutions, the Head of Sales & Marketing, iAS is responsible for leading and implementing strategic initiatives to drive iAS business success, growth and brand awareness. The incumbent will draw upon their extensive experience and network to engage new advisors/clients while working closely with the Wellington-Altus marketing team to execute strategy and optimize client satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include: Representing iAS team and brand with Advisors and their teams.Cultivating deep business relationships with Advisors and understanding their business needs.Effectively communicating with Advisors and their teams; iAS products & services, value proposition, business relationships and investment strategies.Identifying and engaging potential advisors/clients by effectively utilizing and expanding professional networks.Developing, preparing and leading iAS proposals geared towards accelerating Advisor business growth.Building professional relationships and enhancing iAS industry visibility with Advisors.Documenting, communicating, and incorporating Advisor feedback to enhance iAS offerings and support.Leading ideation, coordination, and implementation of iAS Advisor engagement initiatives and events.Leading due diligence recruiting meetings for iAS team.Strategic Initiatives Promoting and acting as brand champion for iAS with Advisors and their teams.Developing and leading implementation of marketing & communication strategies to launch and promote new and existing products and services across different mediums, including website, social and traditional media, intranet, and advisor/client materials.Developing and leading implementation of all iAS Advisor support materials and collateral.Ensuring marketing strategies align with overall iAS business strategy and brand.Leadership Supporting the President in strategic decision-making that aligns with iAS objectives.Developing, leading, and reporting on the iAS sales objectives, strategy and results to the President, Executive Committee and Boards.Supporting the President to develop and promote weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales objectives.Developing and executing strategic and tactical plans to achieve and exceed sales objectives.Analyzing and assessing sales volume and profit for current/new products and services.Building and maintaining a collaborative, positive team environment, while monitoring key performance metrics and identifying and leveraging individual strengths.Performing other duties as assigned.The ideal candidate will possess: Post secondary education with a specialization in business, accounting or related field.MBA is preferred.Minimum of 10 years of working experience in the wealth management industry and with Advisors.Minimum of 5+ years of leadership experience working in a high growth environment.CFA Charter holder is an asset.Proficiency with the MSOffice suite, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams, and Outlook.
