We are on the lookout for an exceptional Head of Safety, to support and lead the Building Products Division. Reporting directly to our Chief Executive, your expertise, passion and proactive approach will be instrumental as you'll work closely with Chief Executives across Fletcher Building, Business Unit General Managers Group EHS team and business unit EHS Managers to champion safety and risk for the business with a solution focused approach. This is a senior leadership role, where you will influence a strong culture, driving implementation of efficient safety systems, risk management and proactive coaching across the business. As our incumbent has demonstrated, your role will be vital in achieving our safety goals and creating a workplace that everyone can be proud of. By instilling a safety-centric culture, you'll not only protect our employees but also enhance our productivity and overall success as a company. Ideally you will have: Deep understanding and experience of EHS within large, complex organisations Will have had 8 – 10 years (minimum) EHS experience Relevant graduate degree (preferably postgraduate degree) in safety or a related discipline Strong priorities management and problem-solving capability Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills, seen as engaging and able to build trust and rapport with diverse range of stakeholders Highly effective influencing and persuasion skills at all levels within organisations Demonstrated capability for problem solving, decision making, sound judgment, assertiveness Preferably trained in ICAM (or similar a similar investigation process) and auditing This fantastic opportunity will provide you with the opportunity to apply your Health & Safety expertise in a market leading business environment with a platform to play a highly influential role in driving safety performance.
