Internal promotion has created a very exciting opportunity for a new Head of Product Development & Systems Engineering at Waikato Milking Systems. As the Head of Product Development and Systems Engineering, you will play a pivotal role within our Executive Team, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer. This position leads several key functions, including the management of our existing product portfolio, the introduction of new products to market, and support for after-market sales and engineering-to-order projects.
With your experienced team across product development and design engineering, you will steer the product portfolio strategy from inception to market delivery. Your successful track record in driving performance within global markets will be crucial as you lead with positivity and sound judgment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage new product development initiatives.
Foster relationships with stakeholders to ensure project success.
Oversee financial performance of the product development function.
Drive the introduction of innovative products in the agricultural and Agri-tech sectors.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Proven experience in new product management and development.
Strong commercial acumen with a passion for dairy milking and Agri-tech.
Expertise in project management with advanced planning and negotiation skills.
Exceptional communication abilities, both internally and externally.
