There will also be the operational delivery of HR services, advice and support to people leaders in-line with the broader objectives and strategic plans of the Group.The position will partner with Heads of Business Units / Departments and People Leaders to identify, develop and implement solutions across a range of HR functions including, recruitment, remuneration, workforce planning, managing for performance, industrial relations, organisational restructuring, employee relations, staff engagement, organisational development and staff development.Provide leadership and day-to-day direction to the Office Administrator role to ensure that the NZ offices are always fully functional, engaging places to work and are compliant with all workplace health and safety requirements.What you'll be doing:Transformation and Change Management: being the leader, expert and influencer on organisational redesign, review and business processes improvements with direct impact to the people and business.Developing People Strategy: in line with business strategy and environment, design and implement an effective people strategy and plan for the NZ business.HR Delivery (transactional and advisory): accountable for the delivery of all HR Services into the NZ business (e.g. remuneration review, Employee Engagement Survey, performance reviews, succession planning etc).Culture: driving improvements in culture across all BUs and office locations in NZ leveraging earlier work on values and new ways of working and lead a co-location at a single site. Drive productivity and accountability within a sales culture with the outcome of achievement of exceptional results. Development and implementation of a NZ Employee Value Proposition in-line with Group benefits and propositions.Building Capability: through empowering and educating the People Leaders across the NZ business. Develop and implement a Learning & Development Plan for all employees and introduce any programs or frameworks that will assist with driving performance and enabling a culture of career development.Leadership, Coaching and Mentoring: of all NZ people leaders to ensure exceptional levels of business plan execution and staff engagement.Leading Change: as both a leader and advisor to the business to enable improvements and to develop new and more effective ways of assisting the business to over-achieve on its goals and plans.Health and Safety: inspection of workplaces to ensure compliance. Ensure employees are trained on health and safety procedures and policies.Office Administration: Oversee, motivate and manage the Office Administration role to ensure the effective day-to-day running of the 4 office locations in New Zealand. This includes ensuring all HR engagement events, activities and programs of work are deployed seamlessly and consistently throughout NZ.Skills and CompetenciesAbility to navigate, build and maintain relationships in a complex matrix environment.Comfortable in balancing both operational requirements and strategic outcomes, which require the ability to be both pro-active with people solutions and responding and prioritising business operational needs.Business and organisational acumen to ensure understanding of any key trends and/or dynamics that may impact the business and/or people and to translate this knowledge into action.Data judgement with the ability to analyse and interpret data to produce insights that will influence outcomes and drive ROI.Thorough understanding of all aspects of NZ industry trends and employment law and how these relate to the business.
