What You Will Be Doing

Dive into the Heart of Your Responsibilities:

Develop a clear strategy and have ownership of the process from procure-to-pay overpayments across customer payments, supplier payments, and claims payments.
Work closely with stakeholders across the business such as Claims, Customer Service, Customer Experience Squads, and Technology to align with strategic objectives.
Create and execute payment strategies that align with Tower Insurance's overall objectives.
Drive innovation in payment solutions, leveraging new technologies and trends.
Monitor and analyze payment trends, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
Develop a strategic roadmap for the payments function, aligning with the company's digital transformation initiatives.
Champion digital adoption, focusing on driving digital ways to enhance payment structures and platforms.

What You'll Need
The ideal candidate is a digital innovator with extensive experience in payment technologies, a strategic mindset, and a proven track record of driving digital transformation and enhancing payment solutions through cutting-edge technologies.
To be successful in this role, you will also demonstrate the following:

8-10 years' experience in payments, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
Proven experience in leading payment functions, managing teams, and implementing process improvements.
Proven experience and expertise in digital payment strategies and digital payment technology.
Knowledge of New Zealand payment systems, banking infrastructure, and relevant regulations (including AML, KYC, and payment compliance).
