We currently have an exciting opportunity within Specialised Solutions (C&IB) as Head of Merchant & Payments Distribution. We spoke with our GM - Working Capital & Transactional Banking, and she let us know the following about the turanga (role):
What are some key responsibilities of the turanga? Developing strategic relationships with key stakeholders including product partners, pricing teams, Merchant Acquiring and Marketing. and our distribution teams, to ensure we drive suitable outcomes for our customers.Leading and influencing the Merchant Sales and Service Hub team and our frontline distribution teams to ensure growth and retention of customers and operational tasks and initiatives are delivered effectively and consistently across Partnership Banking and C&IB.Designing and leading the sales strategy including development and maintenance of a national and regional sales funnel for Merchants multi-channel payment acceptance needs.Supporting the alignment between all specialist sectors within Specialised Solutions & CIB to align to growth of Merchant Acquiring in all channels.What is the most exciting thing about this opportunity? Payments is a key cornerstone to any business and our customers want to be able to accept payments in the most easy and cost effective way. They want us to be easy to deal with, knowledgeable and add value through our advice and solutions. Delivering these solutions to our customers is pretty exciting.
What specific experience would be beneficial? As a highly skilled and respected leader, with extensive experience in financial services (ideally from a customer facing, sales and/or service role) you will be able to effectively coach, develop, inspire, and motivate a team to deliver exceptional service and results.
What attributes will this person display in order to be successful in this turanga? To be successful in this role, you will also have:
