Our client is a leading financial organisation for ethical, Christian investments and lending.
They are looking to appoint a Head of Lending who will be at the forefront of all lending initiatives and will lead a small team to oversee and manage the loan application process from enquiry through to settlement.The role:Ensure credit is managed in compliance with the Credit Risk Policy.Manage the lending process within the CRM.Develop new and improved processes to improve the customer experience.Review credit assessments and maintain a high level of accuracy.Conduct and process credit assessments for larger clients with more complicated transactions.Maintain a strong relationship focus with lending clients.Cultivate new business opportunities with potential clients.Maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders including senior management and members of the lending committee.Ensure compliance with all AML/CFT regulations and monitor ongoing compliance.Provide detailed reports on loan applications and portfolio performance to the management team.The Person:Will be part of the leadership team and will provide guidance and support to the lending team.Must have values that align with the organisation and can forge strong relationships within the Christian network.Have an understanding of how churches and charities operate.Solid background in lending within the banking and finance sector.Strong understanding of credit analysis or a background in accounting or financial management.Have a strong work ethic and attitude.Be a big picture thinker.This is an exciting role for someone with excellent attention to detail who can focus on improving processes and procedures.
