Databricks is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Global Industry Enablement to lead our efforts in developing and implementing industry-specific enablement strategies across our major verticals. This role will be responsible for owning the strategy and creation of content for Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare and Life Sciences, Public Sector, and Media and Entertainment sectors, among others.
As the Head of Global Industry Enablement, you will play a crucial role in empowering our sales teams with the knowledge, tools, and resources needed to effectively engage with customers across diverse industries. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive enablement programs that align with Databricks' overall business objectives and drive revenue growth in key verticals.
The impact you will have: Develop and execute a global industry enablement strategy that supports Databricks' go-to-market initiatives across major verticalsLead the creation of industry-specific content, including sales playbooks, case studies, white papers, and presentation materialsCollaborate closely with executives across product, marketing, and sales leadership to ensure alignment of industry messaging and value propositionsDesign and implement training programs to enhance the industry expertise of sales teams and partnersAnalyze market trends and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth in each verticalEstablish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of industry enablement initiativesPartner with regional leaders to ensure global consistency while addressing local market needsContinuously refine and optimize enablement strategies based on feedback and performance metricsWhat we look for: 10+ years of experience in sales enablement and/or consulting, preferably with a focus on industry-specific strategiesProven track record of developing, implementing and scaling successful enablement programs in a global, enterprise-level organizationAbility to build strategy and execute simultaneously under tight deadlines and high expectationsStrong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring high-performing teamsExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical audiencesStrong executive presenceDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively across functions and geographiesExperience with data analytics, artificial intelligence, and cloud technologiesBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferredFamiliarity with Databricks' products and services is a plusThe ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for technology and its applications across industries. They will have the ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling business value propositions for each vertical.
