If you own the business planning and forecasting model for your carrier and have collaborated closely with the CEO, CFO, and other business heads, you should consider this Head of FP&A role. This role provides you with an opportunity to leverage your expertise in the P&C and Reinsurance segment and improve on an existing framework while establishing relationships at the enterprise and business unit level. You'll work closely with the senior leadership team to enhance the company's efficiency and profitability by assisting in the formulation of both medium- and long-term financial plans.
To succeed in this position, you should possess a comprehensive understanding of the industry, underwriting structures, partnering/distribution relationships, investments, and strategy. You'll report to the CFO, have demonstrated leadership abilities, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and a proven track record of building best-in-class processes and controls. You should be a thoughtful and hands-on leader who has the gravitas to build relationships, is committed to excellence, contributes to an environment of continuous improvement, and can work independently while orchestrating the resources of the FP&A team.
Compensation will be appropriate for a current Head/SVP of FP&A at a publicly traded carrier (generally in the $250,000 - $275,000 range on the fixed with a corresponding amount in STI/LTIP).
