We are looking for a Head of Fan Systems to join our winning team to support the development, implementation, and optimization of all digital platforms and technologies that will take global fan engagement to a new level.
This role will lead a small team of professionals dedicated to creating world-leading solutions that connect fans with the game, teams, players, and New Zealand.
In this role you will: Develop strategy for fan engagement technologies Lead, coach, train and develop a team of technology professionals, fostering a high-performance technology culture.
Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of fan-facing digital platforms, including websites, mobile apps, and other integration points.
Store and utilize data gathered from fan systems to further enhance the experience and grow revenue.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of fan engagement strategies.
Manage relationships with external vendors and technology partners.
Negotiate contracts and oversee project management for technology initiatives.
Ensure all fan systems comply with relevant data protection and privacy regulations.
Implement robust security measures to protect fan data and maintain the integrity of digital platforms.
To be successful in this role you will bring experience in: People leadership (5+ years) 5+ years building software or data-led solutions Developing and implementing successful digital engagement strategies that prioritise the user experience Stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Sports, entertainment, or digital media industries.
Being hands-on to solve problems and get stuff done.
