Woodford House, a leading Anglican Special Character, state-integrated, boarding and day school for Y7–13 girls, in Hawke's Bay is seeking to appoint a permanent, Head of Faculty - English to join our passionate and enthusiastic team. We nurture each girl who walks through our doors so that her light shines brighter.
About the role:
We are looking to appoint a Head of Faculty – English, with prior leadership experience to head this strong and high achieving Faculty. Extensive experience teaching Y7-13, NCEA and NZQA Scholarship is required. The position is to commence term 1, 2025, and will attract 2MU and 1MMA.
About you:
Registration with the Teaching Council of New Zealand,
The ability to teach English to senior level, including scholarship English,
The ability to lead a high performing team with innovation and enthusiasm,
The ability to promote exceptional education in a blended learning environment,
A willingness to meet our future-focused learning goals,
High level communication and interpersonal skills,
A commitment to our school's special character.
