Head Of Engineering

We are seeking a qualified and experienced engineering professional to lead our talented team in overseeing the engineering aspects of our airport operations.
In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including: Leadership and Team Management: Provide effective leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers and technicians.
Foster a collaborative and professional work environment that promotes professional development and continuous improvement.
Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and budget management of infrastructure / engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all regulatory requirements.
Safety and Compliance: Maintain a strong focus on safety by ensuring all engineering activities comply with regulations, industry best practices, and internal safety protocols.
Facilities Management: Oversee the ongoing maintenance and repair of airport infrastructure, including runways, taxiways, terminals, parking structures, and utilities.
Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to optimise asset performance and lifespan.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the engineering department budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and implementation of the airport's long-term engineering strategy, ensuring alignment with the airport's overall business goals.
Qualifications: Essential Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
Strong project management and budget management skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
Desirable In-depth knowledge of regulations and airport engineering standards.
Minimum 5 years of experience in airport engineering or related field.
