You will provide strategic leadership and operational direction to the EM&M team, ensuring our equipment operates seamlessly 24/7. As a key member of the Douglas Manufacturing Leadership team, you will drive the development of capital expenditure plans and champion best practices in EM&M.Collaboration is at the heart of this role. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including customer service, manufacturing, packing, sales, and customers, to support their technical and EM&M needs. By managing teams and projects, you will ensure we deliver best-in-class equipment and services, fostering strong relationships and driving continuous improvement to meet and exceed customer expectations and compliance standards.What You'll DoPeople Leadership: Provide clear leadership and vision, inspiring and motivating your team to achieve excellence. Mentor and develop team members on Good Manufacturing and Engineering practices.Strategic Leadership: Implement EM&M strategy and operational goals to exceed customer expectations for equipment and service provision, quality, cost, and delivery. Create and implement best practice EM&M vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to support the overall business strategy.Operational Leadership: Ensure all EM&M activities are delivered on time and executed in adherence to our Quality and Compliance processes. Drive Continuous Improvement across all EM&M related areas of the business. Establish and maintain a robust preventive maintenance plan.Financial Management: Prepare the annual EM&M department budget and forecast all Capital Expenditure proposals.
