Job type Full-time Location Auckland City, Auckland Full job description Showcase your people and technical leadership, and engineering expertise Steer the development and implementation of temporary works engineering solutions Identify and pursue engineering opportunities for business growth and development About the role: Based in Auckland, you will play a pivotal role in creating and executing our engineering strategy, fostering a culture of excellence to ensure the engineering function operates efficiently and effectively, aligns with strategic goals and delivers high-quality outcomes on time and within budget, stakeholder collaboration and customer satisfaction (internal and external).
About you: You will have extensive experience in a similar engineering leadership role within the construction industry.
You will be passionate about identifying and pursuing opportunities for business growth and development related to engineering services or products.
We would love to talk to you if you have: Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering or a related field Extensive experience in a similar engineering role within the construction industry Exceptional people leadership skills, with the proven ability to inspire, motivate and engage a diverse team Proven experience in business development in a construction or engineering context Proven ability to establish and maintain relationships with internal and external customers Strong business acumen Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset Technical knowledge and proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) qualification Advanced technical knowledge of temporary works (including formwork, propping & scaffolding systems), including design, safety standards and industry best practices About us: We are the largest scaffolding, formwork, falsework and event infrastructure company in New Zealand, servicing industrial, commercial, civil and residential construction and maintenance sectors, and major sporting, live music and cultural events, with over 530 employees.
Acrow Group is made up of Acrow, Acrow Events, Camelspace Scaffolding, Direct Scaffolding Supplies, Skyhigh Scaffolding and UP2IT Access Hire in New Zealand and Clyde Equipment in Fiji.
